I've lovingly carried these comic books through about 20 moves across two continents over 35 years, but it's time to see them off to a good home.

'gusto' manifesto

I'm a passionate guy, and I'm passionate about all kinds of things -- from the flinty prose of Hemingway to the all-natural flavors of Froot Loops. I've gone hot-air ballooning, scuba diving, whitewater rafting, and bunjee jumping. I once drove a BMW 850i at 150 mph (240 kph) on the autobahn. I spent four weeks reporting from Afghanistan, and once performed my own routine at a comedy club. (Guess which was scarier.) In short, I like to think that I approach life with a certain, well, gusto, while also trying not to take myself too seriously.
