Bones About It
A co-worker of mine recently came back to his desk from the company snack bar with this colorful lunch.
Something about the simplicity of the foods here that really caught my fancy. Fish and carrots. Just fish and carrots.
I believe it was a dorado.
This is part of my unplanned fish series on Gusto (see here and here).
Tee Many Martoonis
Hey, folks. Sorry for not writing much lately. Just returned from a three-week trip to visit family and friends in the United States.
It was only supposed to have been a two-week trip, but the volcano forced the cancellation of our flight and we had to remain an extra week or so.
We ended up working from our D.C. office for those extra days. (Although I did manage to enjoy myself, including a couple of top-notch gin martinis at Town & Country, the famous bar/lounge at the famous -- and infamous -- Mayflower Hotel in Washington.)
I'm sure I'll post something about our trip in the coming days (at the very least a slideshow).
As always, thanks for reading!
